Frequently asked
Insurance, explained plainly.
How much does car insurance cost in the UAE?
Third Party Liability starts from AED 731 for a standard sedan. Comprehensive cover typically starts around AED 1,785 and scales with vehicle value, age and driver history. Get an instant comparison via our quote wizard.
What's the difference between Third Party and Comprehensive?
Third Party (TPL) is the legal minimum — it covers damage or injury you cause to others, but not your own car. Comprehensive covers own-damage, theft, fire, natural disasters and third-party liability.
What is agency repair and do I need it?
Agency repair means your car is fixed at the manufacturer’s authorised workshop with genuine parts. It preserves warranty and resale value — recommended for cars under 5 years old.
Does UAE insurance cover me in Oman or Saudi Arabia?
Only if you add GCC cover. Most insurers offer it for AED 150–350 per trip or as an annual add-on. We can quote it alongside your policy.
What is a No Claim Discount (NCD)?
For every claim-free year, insurers offer a discount of 10–20% on your next renewal. After 5 clean years the maximum NCD is usually 55%.
How fast can I get my policy?
Digital policies are issued within minutes of payment and delivered by email and WhatsApp. Physical copies are couriered on request.
What documents do I need to buy a policy?
Emirates ID, driving licence, and Mulkiya (vehicle registration). For new cars, the invoice replaces the Mulkiya until registration.
Can I cancel my policy mid-term?
Yes — UAE regulations allow cancellation with a pro-rata refund minus a small admin fee. Our team handles the paperwork with the insurer.
What if I have an accident?
Call our 24/7 line (800 80 80). We dispatch a tow truck, help you obtain the police report, and manage the claim end-to-end with your insurer.
Do you charge broker fees?
No. Our service is free to the customer — insurers pay us a commission for placing your business. You always get the same price you’d get direct.
